These Terms and Conditions outline the framework for our services that comply with the local certifying bodies, and the international standard for learning services outside formal education. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
- Our services comply with the local certifying bodies for the respective courses, covering non-formal education, including corporate training, vocational training, and other learning services.
- The services provided include course design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs.
- Any deviations from the scope of these services will be agreed upon in writing prior to service delivery.
2. Learner-Centered Approach
- The learning services are designed to meet the specific needs of learners and clients, ensuring that course content, delivery methods, and evaluation procedures align with individual learning objectives.
- Learners and clients are expected to provide accurate and timely information regarding their learning needs, goals, and expectations to ensure the best possible outcome.
3. Responsibility of Learning Providers
- We guarantee that our learning services will be delivered by qualified and competent instructors who meet the requirements of the certifying bodies.
- All learning materials will be relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the course objectives.
- We are responsible for providing a safe and conducive learning environment in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
4. Learner Responsibilities
- Learners are required to actively participate in the learning activities, complete assignments, and adhere to the learning schedule provided.
- Learners must follow all guidelines and instructions provided during the learning process, ensuring that they meet any assessment or performance criteria as specified.
- Any misconduct or violation of training center rules (e.g., disruptions, failure to follow safety protocols) may result in the suspension or termination of the learner's participation.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- All personal data collected for the purpose of delivering learning services will be handled in compliance with data protection regulations, including the PDPA where applicable.
- Client and learner information, including assessment results, will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Clients or learners must notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling requests at least 14 days in advance.
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 7 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made on or after the course start date or for non-attendance, and if the trainee discontinues mid-way through the course.
- Refunds are subject to approval and will incur a 10% cancellation fee based on the total course cost.
- The processing of approved refunds will be completed within 14 working days from the date of approval.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances, such as low enrollment or instructor unavailability. In such cases, alternative dates will be provided.
7. Payment Terms
- Payment for services must be made in accordance with the terms specified in the invoice. Failure to comply may result in service suspension.
- Additional fees may apply for supplementary services, course materials, or certification fees, which will be communicated before the start of the course.
- All prices are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise specified.
8. Complaints and Appeals
- Learners or clients who wish to raise a complaint or appeal against any aspect of the learning service or assessment results may do so in writing within 7 days of the event.
- We are committed to resolving complaints in a fair and timely manner, following our established complaints and appeals procedures.
9. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Feedback from learners and clients is essential for continuous improvement. We may request participants to complete evaluation forms at the end of each learning service.
- Any suggestions or recommendations will be reviewed and incorporated into future services to enhance quality and effectiveness in line with ISO requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability for any claims, losses, or damages arising from the provision of learning services will be limited to the total fees paid for the specific service in question.
- We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses incurred as a result of delays, disruptions, or learner performance.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and learners in advance of the service delivery.
- Continued use of our services following any such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
